Established in the Clare Valley in 1997 by Anura Nitchingham. The first winery offerings were small parcels of Riesling and Grenache and have now grown to include many other varietals from blocks located throughout areas of the Clare Valley. The funky-designed wine labels depict the names and song lyrics of some of the world's best-known songs of all time. Turn up the volume of the song of your choice, crack open a bottle and enjoy!

Rebekah has more than 20 years of hands-on wine experience. With a passion for winemaking and business, Rebekah has held senior operations and winemaking roles for some of the world’s largest wine brands both at home and abroad.
All staff at the winery have a passion for all things wine but love to have fun at the same time. These are wines from Clare Valley, using the best fruit possible. The fruit for the wine is sourced from a range of blocks throughout the valley with a mix of soil types and vine ages. This helps to ensure a wide and diverse range of flavours and expressions across the range.

For the love of Football…. It’s not soccer!
Apart from the funky music labelled wine, there is a range that pays homage to one of the world’s most supported sporting teams..Liverpool FC. The owner of Claymore - Anura, spent many years in Liverpool and has been quoted as saying “I’m a massive Liverpool club fan. But whether it’s football or wine, passion is the key”. In 2015, Claymore was appointed as the official Liverpool Football Club Tour 2015 match sponsor for Adelaide. Later in 2015 they were appointed as the Official Wine Partner of Liverpool FC in Australia for 3 seasons. Despite the deal no longer being current, the winery still produces wine under the You’ll Never Walk Alone label and their passion for all things Liverpool FC remains stronger than ever.

The garden of the north
The region where the fruit comes from for Claymore Wines is situated across a patchwork of vineyards and old gum trees. The Clare Valley boasts a wonderful sense of community and a cast of colourful local characters.
